Adam Dretler is the Managing Director in our Nashville office, where he advises families with substantial and complex financial lives, as well as institutional clients including non-profits, endowments, and family foundations. He brings deep investment expertise shaped by a diverse career across global financial markets.
Before joining Diversified Trust, Adam was with Ziff Brothers Investments, a multi-billion dollar single-family office based in New York City. There, he analyzed and invested in a broad array of global macro strategies, including currencies, equities, ETFs, interest rates, futures, and commodities. Prior to that, he served as an equity trader at Deutsche Bank, where he played a key role in building and expanding the firm’s Small and Mid-Cap trading platform. Adam began his investment career as a broker on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange.
Adam earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Duke University, where he also captained the lacrosse team.
He is actively involved in the Nashville community, serving on the board of the Nashville Zoo as a member of the finance committee and Executive Chair of the Investment Committee. Adam also serves on the board of the Jewish Federation of Middle Tennessee, where he is Executive Chair of the Investment Committee, and is a board member of Abe’s Garden, a nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia.
